Job Description: Sales Executive
This is a full time position of Sales Executive for Atlanticon. Position reports to the Director of Sales & Business Development.
As a member of Atlanticon, you are responsible for all business development activities sales-related, working closely with Marketing and Operations, and helping Atlanticon through an aggressive growth phase.
You will follow up on referrals, prospect new areas and perform professional sales calls with key hospital management and/or professional level contacts. All activities will be logged into Salesforce.
You will development solid client relationships, reinforce an understanding of the services available with Atlanticon and determine current/future client needs and goals that result in sales opportunities and wins.
You will identify service need specifications, design business proposals reflecting client needs and engagement details, negotiate terms and successfully close on details. You will be responsible for facilitating a seamless knowledge transfer of all relevant information from Sales to consultants and Operations prior to the beginning of each engagement.
As you build partnerships with current clients to insure recurring opportunities, you will solicit client feedback regarding current engagements and, in turn, provide valuable engagement-related input to Operations for acknowledgement, consideration and possible correction.
You will be expected to foster strong communication channels with Marketing and Operations, and discuss resource needs, process improvement, and forecasted opportunities.
You will remain updated on current trends and information in the industry to better translate and enable the meeting of client needs, achieve quarterly goals, and help guide Atlanticon to remain competitive and current.
You will attend trade shows and engage in a variety of sales and marketing activities in an effort to extend name recognition and market share.
By offering ideas and experiences of value to the organization, you will actively participate in strategizing for growth as we develop short, intermediate and long term organizational plans.
You will work toward meeting quarterly sales goals, regularly reporting to the President and Director of Sales & Business Development to insure sales objectives are met.
You will document and manage sales activities and expenses consistently to meet quarterly budgets and attain or surpass sales growth objectives. All stages of the sales process will be tracked to better determine client traits, market trends and sales statistics.
You must have experience selling consulting services for one or multiple of the following major vendors: Meditech, Epic, Cerner, GE, Siemens and McKesson. You must be well versed in the software products and have a thorough knowledge of healthcare industry terms. You must demonstrate excellent communication skills, exercise a balance of probing and listening, and be able to adjust communications style based on the situation. You must pay strong attention to details, manage time well, and consistently follow up. You should maintain a good mix of drive, personality, and good nature, and have the ability to apply common sense in all that you do. You must be able to travel.
